Yesterday we released heyyo exclusively on Product Hunt, and today, it’s available on iOS and Android to everyone!
It’s been quite a journey from ideation to clicking “go” in the App Store and Google Play, and our team has enjoyed all the ups and downs.
All along, heyyo let us share the fun — and frustrating — moments with friends and family. Late nights in the office, vacations, sporting events — they all got shared with heyyo. heyyo is all about live interaction and really experiencing life’s moments together.
You simply take a picture of what’s happening, send it to your friends, and if they like what they see they can jump straight into a live group video call with you and your friends.
heyyo is built around the concept of less is more. Calls are limited by default to 30 seconds.
30 seconds lets you connect with your friends and show them what’s happening, while keeping it short and exciting.
Fundamentally people want to connect. It is in the mutual experience of the very moment, the emotion, laughter, anguish and embarrassment that binds us together.
heyyo facilitates an instant emotional experience that brings us ever closer to our friends. And it’s private. Only my friends and I share the experience.
