Kit’s default language is English, but you can give Kit copy in any language you like to post updates to your Facebook page, run ads, or send personalized thank you emails to your customers.

All of the content for your posts and ads that Kit builds for you — such as images and product descriptions — are taken directly from your Shopify store so they will already be in your store language.

For post and ad copy and thank you emails, you can create your own content in any language you wish. Here’s how…

English is the default language for Kit but you can also use Kit in other languages for your post and ad copy.

Translating ad copy

To translate the Ad copy, log into your Kit Admin and go to Adjustments > Ads and Posts > turn off all the English content.

Then write your own ad copy in the language of your choice.

Translating the thank you emails

You can easily translate the thank you emails Kit sends out as well. Just log into the Kit admin, then go to Adjustments > thank you emails and change the text there. You can also follow this video tutorial to guide you along.

Translating marketing emails

For your email marketing templates, at the moment the ad copy cannot be edited or translated into other languages. We’re working with our developers to add this feature which we hope to roll out in the near future. For now, if you need to send out marketing emails in your own language, here’s a great guide on how to integrate Mailchimp with Shopify.
