Day 20: Disney California Adventure

I was on the cusp of having a toddler breakdown when I saw more queues at Disney California Adventure. I was told to go straight to the Cars Land area when the park opened because it’s so darn popular. I had to wait an hour to get on the Cars ride. Not okay.
After spending three days by myself maybe the alone time was just getting to me but I was getting super sassy with the wait times on rides that just weren’t worth it.

Except this one! Ermagherd. So much terror in one tower. It was a vertical drop type ride, only it kept going up and down all the time.
It got so intense at one point it was like I was in zero gravity and was just watching my necklace float in front of me. I have no idea how high the drop was but when you’re sitting there watching necklaces just float in front of you know you should be hella screaming. So I did.
It doesn’t even look that high in this pic which is the true gypsy magic.

You could get pretty much any Disney character sketched for you for a not-so-affordable $60-$70. It was neato to watch though, especially their fancy mechanical pencil sharpener.

I’ll miss the overpriced gift shops here. I really will. 90% of items in these shops look tacky as hell when you take them out of the store but I think I have a few gems to take home minus the tacky factor.
