We have often seen that inspiration does not come to us through achievements; it seeks us through our own fears. The fear of losing something, or the only thing that you have ever thought about and worked for.

JobsForHer is one such platform which was curated with a vision of Start .Restart .Rise. It’s a networking portal for Indian women to restart or give a boost to their existing careers. What began as a portal for giving a nudge to women’s careers also expanded to mentorship, partnership with different organizations for uplifting women of various career backgrounds by helping them reskill through various online hands-on learning courses.

Her Story

When Neha Bagaria, a Wharton grad student returned from her three-year-motherhood experience she was baffled to see the corporate organizations were unwilling to hire someone with a huge gap. This acted as a catalyst for her idea which was eventually launched in March 2015 on the eve of International Women’s day as ‘JobsForHer’ as a connecting portal for women to uplift their careers by reskilling and networking. Neha has been able to target millions of women through Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Neha and her team of five women who were also returnees have now grown to over 60 plus members in which 80% of them are returnees in the corporate sector. They now work in this organization with a deep sense of ownership and provide mutual support to each other.

Right Approach In The Market

This platform is growing everyday and has already reached 15 cities from Delhi, Mumbai to Chennai. JobsForHer is in collaboration with 7000+ companies and looking out for talented and skilled women professionals to offer them best-suited roles according to their job profiles.

Neha Bagaria is in partnership with more than 300 vendors whose ultimate goal is to assist the potential candidates in reskilling which covers the genre from soft skills to technical training. Candidates who return to the workplace or are preparing for that big leap are actually in dire need of a proper mentorship and JobsForHer caters to the same by providing a team of 500 mentors from different job profiles. They make sure that the women returnees are fully prepped for the organization that is looking to hire them.
