High Mobility has built the missing link between cars and nearby IoT devices, the MajesticThings. Their mission is to accelerate secure proximity based applications that enable people to do more with less. High Mobility has reimagined the mobility experience with an innovative software platform that redefines what cars and mobile smart devices can do together. Powered by the ability to sense its surroundings, the car can be programmed to recognize the driver by his device when the driver enters its physical space, from unlocking the doors to launching personalized applications, navigation points, driver data or music, in response to specific gestures.

“Building networks for the programmable world requires a P-O-P approach; turning networks into Platforms, Orchestrating the ecosystem, and creating the required Partnerships. Our objective is to reach out to the brightest innovators and experts in the IoT domain so that we, together, can help build a future that will benefit us all”, said Hossein Moiin, Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for Nokia Networks.

“We were delighted by the bold and ambitious approach of High Mobility. The world only becomes programmable and people, devices and things interoperable if we open-mindedly define and fearlessly build the glue”, said Kaj Hagros, Partner at KoppiCatch, member of the Nokia Open Innovation Challenge team.

“Our mission is to make MajesticThings become the new operating system for IoT and auto”, said Risto Vahtra, CEO of High Mobility. “Nokia Open Innovation Challenge was a memorable experience and an important milestone in our story. We look forward to new industry partnerships to make our vision come true.”
