Dressed up in whatever they want, the children at Potter’s House Pre-school celebrated Children in Need today.

Encouraging the children to have more freedom, Sally-Ann Baker, the manager of the Yapton based pre-school, said she wanted the kids to be “as creative as possible” in their outfit choices.

She said: “So often they want to choose their own clothes and it’s not always what we want. Let’s let them decide and see what they come up with.”

The children arrived in a vibrant mix of wellies, princess dresses and Pudsey ears and enjoyed the day filled with Pudsey-painting and dancing.

Each child was asked to bring in a contribution of a £1 advent calendar which will be donated to Children’s Services for children in care in our local community.
