HMS Queen Elizabeth docks in Portsmouth

The navy’s £3.1billion aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth, has today arrived home in Portsmouth after months away.
Hundreds from around the area gathered to view the aircraft carrier, taking photos and sharing stories, bringing Portsmouth together as a city.
Ken Davis, from Portsmouth, said: “It’s amazing how it has brought the city together and the number of people who have come to see it has been excellent.”
More than 1,000 members of the ship’s company have returned after four months of trials of the F35-B fighter jets.
