Hundreds formed around Stubbington war memorial to mark an emotional 100th anniversary since the First World War.

The village was harmonious during hymns and the bugle took the show during the two minutes silence.

There was a real feel of community spirit around Stubbington which demonstrated the respect the area has for our past and present heroes.

All types came to pay their respects, from veterans, to scouts, to current members of the military for the emotional November morning.
