I Did a Stupid Thing

I was trying to be nice. It backfired.

I just spent a couple of hours cleaning up a mess of my own making.

When my ex-husband and I decided to get a divorce, at first, things were amicable. After years of my frustration, he acquiesced pretty quickly when I told him I wanted out, and it seemed like we were going to have one of those fabled “easy” divorces. No fuss, no muss.
