People love Pocket for one obvious reason: it’s amazing to save a story to read later, when you have time. Time-shifting is integral to the modern media consumer. Time-saving increasingly is too, and you can get the just-the-gist of the stories in your reading list by connecting Pocket to Highly to start with each story’s highlights.

But there’s a non-obvious reason readers love Pocket: every pocketed story is available as a cleaned-up, ad-free, no-squinting-required Reader View. And starting now, you can highlight it.

Easy reading, breezy highlighting.
Highlights in Reader View appear on the Original, too.

Use Highly to highlight in Pocket Reader View, and your highlights will appear on the original article too.

Your highlights are saved to your Highly collection, and they’ll appear whenever you navigate back to the story — inside Pocket and out on the world wild web.

Because Reader View is only available when you’re signed in to Pocket, Highly notices you’re on a private page and ensures that your highlights also appear on the public, Original version of the story. So when you share your highlights, or when friends browse to a story you’ve highlighted, they’ll see your highlights right there on the source.

Pocket is the internet’s save button. Highly is its highlighter. With Reading List sync and Reader View highlighting, they work wonderfully together.
