2020 Issue Submission Guidelines

The time has come to submit for the 2020 issue of Highly Flammable! All submissions must be either a Microsoft Word document, Google Docs document, or PDF and must be emailed to highlyflammableco@gmail.com. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are currently accepting submissions for poetry, flash fiction, short fiction, creative nonfiction, digital art, traditional art, and photography. We are also open to other ideas of submissions, so please get in contact with us if you are interested in something not listed here.

These are the following guidelines for page limit/word count for literary submissions:

Poetry: No more than 2 pages single spaced

Flash Fiction: No more than 500 words

Short Fiction: No more than 10 pages single spaced

Creative Nonfiction: No more than 10 pages single spaced

The only guidelines for submitting art submissions is that it must be a PNG, JPG, or PDF document. If you are submitting traditional art of any sense please make sure to take a picture showing the entire work of art in a well lit area. We reserve the right to ask you for clearer pictures of your artwork.

We hope to see everyone’s beautiful works of art and create something truly worth burning for.
