Access Logs
Hopefully this one is something you’ll never need, but if you do, it can be super handy — we’ve introduced Access Logs.
Any User can view their own access log by clicking on the ‘Your Access Log’ link on the right hand side of the screen from the My Info page:
Account Owners and Admins can access the team’s log from the User’s page:
Access logs are broken down per day and per hour and show history for the last 14 days (starting from February 11).
The logs include access from desktops, mobile devices and tablets, the iOS app, calendars, and other integrations. And display operating systems and browsers as applicable.
If you ever fear someone has access to your account, a disgruntled former employee for example, you can use these pages to investigate. It’s also a handy way to find any old applications/integrations that still have access to your account from your API access token, and take measures to remove their access if you want. If you do need to reset your API access token, here’s some help with that. And if you feel like someone has access to your username who shouldn’t, here are the steps you should take:
- Reset your password.
- Turn phone verification on for your user account.
- Click “Sign out”, and then sign back in (this will ensure any signed in sessions on other computers will be signed out)
- Reset your API token as described above
- Reset your tasks Calendar feed. Here’s how you get to your calendar feed to reset it.
