Easier Avatars

We’re excited to announce a couple changes that will greatly simplify using avatars in Highrise.

Highrise has always offered some help adding avatars to new contacts when based on email address or Twitter handle. But you didn’t have much choice on what we used. Now Highrise will offer you suggestions. And we’ve added smarter code to look for company logos based on websites, which especially comes in handy for Company contacts.

We’ve also streamlined uploading avatars to contacts. It’s no longer a separate step where you have to add a contact, then edit the contact to upload your image — way too many clicks. Now, assigning the avatar is part of the process and you can upload an image while adding or editing a contact.
