Tip #27: How to Dictate Notes Using the iPhone App

The Highrise iPhone app is all about helping you use Highrise on-the-go. It’s really useful for when you need to quickly call, text, or get directions.

Now, let’s say you just had a conversation with an important client. You need to add a note in Highrise about those details, but you’re also in a hurry to get to your next meeting. You don’t have time to type the note.

So what do you do?

Tell Highrise what the conversation was about instead.

How?

Enable dictation on your iPhone. This article describes how to do that, and we’ll walk through the steps below.

How to Enable Dictation on the iPhone App

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone
  2. Click General
  3. Choose Keyboard
  4. Toggle on Enable Dictation

Once enabled, you can dictate notes using the iPhone app.

Here’s an example of dictating a note:

This is really handy when you’re on the move, and you need to add a note fast.
