Steep mountain behind Futagoji temple, the most important temple on the peninsula. You have to pay a few hundred yen to enter the temple, through which you reach the hiking trail. There is a steep road or (also steep), route through the forest, with lots of interesting grottos, statues and shrines to look at. Perhaps take the road up and forest route down. Views of the Seto Inland Sea, Himeshima island, and the Kunisaki peninsula from the top.
