Markdown Notes on GoodTask 7.7
GoodTask gets markdown on notes field with version 7.7 update.
It’s pretty simple. You type it in and it’ll be rendered following CommonMark syntax. You can check details in https://spec.commonmark.org webpage.
Basic syntax such as **Bold**, *italic* # Headings, [Link](http://hahaint.com) and lists will work.
This is how you’ll see it on Mac.
It’ll also be available on List Memo and Goals page.
You can turn it off inside ‘Settings — Advanced’ if you don’t prefer using it.
Other than that, Apple watch will get customizable 5 action buttons inside task detail page. You can connect it to your Quick Actions inside ‘Settings — Apple Watch’ page.
And on Mac, you get other updates described on above screenshot.
- Complete button on task detail pane
- Alert menu added on New Task window to let you adjust alert time more specifically while adding if needed
- Better prompt page when many selections are available on Quick Actions
And on both iOS and Mac, when you ‘Duplicate as Event’, that event will have a GoodTask link in notes field to open GoodTask directly when needed.
Hope you enjoy the update. Thanks!
