Hi, I’m Caroline!

Hi Everyone! My name is Caroline Burke. I am a Junior Business/Finance student at California Polytechnic State University and today I’m going to share some of my favorite campus resources. Here are my personal Top 3 “Can’t Miss” spots!

Spot #1: The Rec Center

The Cal Poly Rec Center

One of my favorite resources is Cal Poly ‘s beautiful recreation center! You can find me here almost every day working out, studying, or sitting by the pool with friends! Here, you can attend work out classes, schedule a personal training session, or hop on one of the sports courts with friends for a pickup game! Also, it is one of my favorite destinations on a hot day because the building has the best air conditioning. Racquetball, anyone?

Spot #2: The Advising Center

The SSC Advising Center

It’s always a good idea to check in often with your advisor! They can help you will everything from choosing the curriculum best for you, to assisting with schedule planning, and are a great source of information for everything regarding your major. Check out the services offered by your university today!

Spot #3: The Library

The Cal Poly Library

The library is one of the best resources you have at your disposal! Not only can you get research material and class textbooks, but also online research assistants, database access, career support, and, obviously, tons of study space! You can always find me tucked in a 3rd floor corner with a coffee and connect preparing for an exam or finishing up a homework assignment.
