Hillrise Ventures Announces Investment in Alien Worlds

Hillrise Ventures today announces an investment into Alien Worlds — one of the most popular blockchain games in existence and the only DeFi game cross-denominated on both the WAX and Ethereum blockchains. Hillrise Ventures is the private investment arm of Hillrise Group.
Alien Worlds is an already established presence in the crypto-gaming niche of the blockchain industry. As blockchain-enabled gaming and gamified decentralized finance continues to snowball momentum we are more than excited to back a startup leading this charge.
Alien Worlds is a DeFi NFT metaverse where you can collect and play with unique digital items. The game sports an ecosystem built around communities (DAOs), incentivization mechanisms such as land ownership and land exploitation, and a competitive game mode called ‘Thunderdome’ where players can face off against each other. Future additions to Alien Worlds will include missions and digital item interoperability.
