Hillrise Ventures today announces an investment into Epik Prime (‘Epik’) — a leading name in premium in-game experiences, digital items, and blockchain-enabled licensing and branding. Hillrise Ventures is the private investment arm of Hillrise Group.
Epik is the global leader for bringing brands into video games and producing unique in-game items, events, and experiences. Their focus includes a wide variety of niches including gaming, virtual reality, and mobile apps.
Underpinning this success is their large number of existing relationships in the entertainment space. Epik has already built ties with more than 300 enterprise clients and has been a pioneer in the NFT space since 2018 — well before NFTs and digital collectibles came into the limelight.
The company currently has hundreds of brands in their network including big players in the traditional and mobile gaming space (Tencent, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Garena) as well as giants in the entertainment industry (Warner Music Group, Universal). These connections give Epik a unique position in the market and present an opportunity to onboard fans and consumers from these brands into the blockchain space.
