A letter from our CEO, unique insight, and company updates

All,

To say there’s a lot happening in the world would be an understatement. I started these updates to serve as a helpful outlet to get some important news on healthcare, business — and share news on Hims & Hers — all in one place. If there’s anything you want to hear more about, or other thoughts you’d like to share, my line is always open.

That said, I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to discuss the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Regardless of where you stand on political issues, I believe we should all strive to follow the path of courage, perseverance and integrity that she set throughout her life. I would encourage you all to read this memoriam from NPR of Justice Ginsburg’s life and work.

As we consider the legacy of one of our country’s great servants, and all she did to encourage others to join in the political discourse and social movements, I want to ensure that our employees are given more time to exercise their civil and political rights. That’s why Hims & Hers will be giving our employees the full day off on election day to vote and volunteer as poll workers. We’re also donating $10,000 to Business for America to fund Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for poll workers in accordance with CDC guidelines. My hope is that many companies are looking into ways they can support election day.

Last week, the United States recognized National Voter Registration Day to highlight the major roles we all play when we participate in our electoral process. Check out When We All Vote and other nonpartisan voter information resources to understand the impact you can have this election. This is a critical moment for our nation’s democracy and resources like these are essential so that people are encouraged to participate, and do so safely.

Stay strong & be well,

Andrew

COMPANY NEWS

This month we recognized Sexual Health Awareness Month in two ways. The first was launching two new products as part of our sexual health line. We are so excited that our condoms (made with LELO), lubricant, and also a condoms and lubricant kit are available to purchase. The other way we supported the month was by kicking off an ongoing Q&A series with our resident sexual health expert, Dr. Leah Millheiser. Her first post can be found here, and if you follow our Medium blog you’ll find more sexual health insights and information to come.

If you or your loved ones are still unsure or skeptical about telehealth, make sure to check out this super informative and fun video we created! You’ll see how easy it can be to get the care you need to feel your best.

An at-home COVID-19 saliva test, authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization, is available through the Hims & Hers platforms:
