The DWF Ventures will be starting a monthly series called Hindsight 2020.

In this series, we aim to look into specific verticals within the crypto space to try to make sense of unpredictable developments. Ultimately, our goal is to figure out why things were being built, how the market reacted, the areas of potential gaps, and where the next potential alpha could be.

As progress tends to be non-linear and random, new rapid advances can make old ones seem like simple stepping stones. However, at that point in time, no one would have been able to anticipate what was to come. While we cannot predict the future, strategic and informed guesses can be made with the information available.

Given the unpredictability of the crypto space and its ever-changing new developments, we understand that there cannot be one true finite analysis. That is why with each article, we aim to provide analysis and insights that will be re-evaluated to be consistent and relevant according to the new developments that we observe in this space.

As we know the arbitrary and dynamic nature of this crypto space, we understand that no one true analysis can represent finality.
