About me, my goals and the accident…

I’m Justin. I’m 26 years old and have been an amputee for 6 weeks at the time of writing. I suffered a freak hammocking accident in Tanzania - don’t ask - which resulted in the amputation of my left leg at the hip (a hip-disarticulation).

This page is intended primarily for my own use: it’s (i) a self-help tool, (ii) somewhere to collate research, and (iii) a way of monitoring my progress and setting myself goals. My aim is for all the photos of others to become photos of me within the next year or so.

Other amputees, or their family and friends are welcome to use this resource. I’m not doing advice on here except stay positive. Being an amputee is really not so bad.
