Témi Season is Upon Us
“Music for me is the person I talk to about life. It doesn’t judge, it just listens,” reveals Toronto’s own Témi (his full name meaning “mine is worthy of thanks” in Yoruba), R&B soul artist. He attributes his connection to music to his older brothers, who introduced him to the sounds of Motown and the musical influences of “Babyface.” At the young age of 5, he instantly fell in love with music, entering talent shows and contests.
Formerly with “Disturbing the Peace/Def Jam Records,” Témi has since left to pursue a solo career and is working on his debut EP entitled, “Alternative Soul.”
Today, Témi is focused on performing music that has a heartfelt sound and a profound effect. “My hope is that people will relate to my music in a way that helps them find healing. At the end of it all, if I can inspire, encourage, and leave a positive impression…that’s what matters the most on this journey.”
