More Blitzen Trapper love from new album American Goldwing

This was the year that I solidified Blitzen Trapper as a one of my go-to music selections when I can’t think of anything else to play. It takes a special band to fit this bill and I’m quite happy I added them to the other standards (Tom Waits, Wilco, Johnny Cash, Grateful Dead, etc.).

So you can imagine my excitement and anticipation for their new album, American Goldwing, due out on 9/13/2011 via Sub Pop. Below is another new track, “Love The Way You Walk Away”. With banjo spice, this has more of a straight head country-rock sound then some of their other tunes that have a bit more edge to them. Enjoy.
