How our lean-startup process gained traction at CeBIT 2015
This year was our first time to participate at CeBIT, and what a start it has been! Despite a strong headwind — our tiny booth was located opposite to one of the local powerhouses — the abundance of interest in our lean-startup process was simply overwhelming.
Being a last minute decision to participate — thanks IT Plus Cluster for the opportunity — it was a deep dive into the unknown, waiting for the fair’s visitors to stop by. It gives me goosebumps to think about how many brilliant ideas I’ve discussed with you or how many of you li(c)ked our roll up.
And for that, a big thank you goes out to all of you! Now I have the pleasant duty to follow up on all of your emails. Have no fear, none of you will be left behind, as we can’t wait to team up with many of you!
Talking about the fair itself, there is no other word to describe it, but gigantic. According to my watch, I’ve walked more than 60,000 steps between exhibitors and halls during the fair; that’s longer than a marathon! Those of you participating already, you know what I’m talking about. Everybody else, mark the 14–18 March 2016 period in your calendars and plan your visit in advance.
As oh my, you’d probably need a month to see and feel everything CeBIT has to offer, from the hall dedicated to brilliant startups, through the newest trends the “big players” have on their plate, to the present and future of IoT. My favourite exhibitor was a small german studio creating 3D virtual reality content for Oculus Rift: forget the roller-coaster, watching the planets from the ISS or running with dinosaurs just blew my mind. Nevertheless, Edward Snowden’s thoughts on cyber security or Kevin Mitnick’s hacking tricks were nothing less but extraordinary.
All in all, we’ll definitely be back next year! But ‘till then, it’s time to foster on the partnerships we’ve bound.

P.S. It was nice to see that our agile innovative approach was adopted by other exhibitors as well. On Monday, the CEO of an IT outsourcing company dropped by and asked about our business model.
