At HireGo, we believe in the potential for vehicle sharing to make our towns and cities more pleasant places to live and work by reducing congestion and pollution. We wanted to develop a solution which made setting up a vehicle sharing club easier than ever and more fun!
We are very pleased to announce our new HireGo Communities feature within our HireGo P2P Sharing app.
Our new communities feature allows even small vehicle sharing operators to manage their shared fleets using our new, user-friendly iOS and Android mobile applications. It is designed by app experts and is very user friendly.
The app is downloaded on your phone from the App store or Google play store. Operators simply need to create admin accounts, choose a community name and logo then begin listing their vehicles.
The app is connected to national vehicle databases and DVLA databases. Operators can also select HireGo partner’s insurance or choose their own providers.
We want to put car share clubs and operators in control. Admins can create their own club rules. They can manually add members to their communities or create pre-set conditions. Admins can also accept or decline random user requests to be a part of their club.
Everything is handled seamlessly via the app including driver background checks any required payment transactions.
The app will monitor driver location in the background and provide necessary information. Admins and members can communicate via the app and we are trialling a hardware system to allow the car itself to communicate with admins and members.
We are very excited about this and are looking forward to rolling out the app very soon. As such, we are offering initial operators the use of our app without charge (subject to conditions).
