The wait is over — Param.ai launch — 23rd June 2017, Gurgaon
Param.ai, a complete recruitment solution powered by analytics and artificial intelligence was launched on Friday the 23rd of June at the Leela Ambience, Gurgaon at a ‘by-invite-only’ event.
The event was attended by journalists from well-known print and online media houses.
Heads of HR (Human Resources) and Talent Acquisition from top companies in the NCR region attended the launch, to know more about Param.
The event on a Friday evening started off with national award winning actor Ashish Vidyarthi interacting with the crowd.
This was followed by screening the video about Param, which gave the audience a fair view about what the product will do.
After screening the video, the CEO and Co-founder of Stockroom, Hari Krishna launched the product. Hari has spent over 12 years in the talent acquisition space in companies like Oracle, IBM, United Health Group and was more recently a recruitment leader at Amazon. Hari spoke about the challenges faced by recruiters — spending a lot of time on repetitive manual tasks like screening resumes, taking hiring decisions (primarily screening) based on gut-instinct rather than data, lack of analytical insights and comprehensive reports etc. It is these issues that he faced in his own recruitment career, in addition to some of the inputs received from clients on their pain points in recruitment that prompted Hari and his team to work on, and build Param.ai.
The demo was followed by a short Q&A session about the product.
After all the serious talk, it was time for a few laughs. And after standup comedian Amit Tandon took to the stage, he had the audience in splits.
The evening ended on this high note, aided by dinner and some cocktails, of course!
