Arsenic Wafer for Beauty?!?!? (1890)

Sometimes there really are no words. As I do research for other things, publications in a newspaper move me, and I had to create a publication just to keep them separate to the rest of my work.

This particular advertisement is shocking because aresenic is being used for beauty, but also in the same advertisement as would appear are veiled abortion advertisements for the time period.
