The Woman Who Helped Debunk a Fatal COVID-19 Misconception

In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced: “FACT: #COVID19 is NOT airborne. The #coronavirus is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks…”

In April 2021, the WHO took it back. It quietly updated its website by stating that COVID-19 spreads through droplets and aerosols.
