NNaturally, blonde hair is mostly associated with white or caucasian people. However, there are groups of dark skin people that also possess blonde hair. They are called “Melanesians”.

The name “Melanesia” was first used by Jules Dumont D’Urville in 1832 for a particular group of islands that were distinct from Micronesia and Polynesia. Melanesians are indigenous inhabitants of Melanesia, a group of Islands located in the northeast area of Australia.

Within the Melanesian Islands, there are countries such as Fiji, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, and Solomon Island.
