When a president lies.
At a time when the Vietnam War was wildly unpopular with the American public President Richard Nixon launched top secret bombings on a little-known country named Cambodia. The measure would kill thousands of civilians while leaving an entire countryside in chaos. Ramifications from the bombings would last well beyond the Nixon presidency.
