Today is Palm Sunday 2025, but do we know when the very first Palm Sunday took place?

Short Answer: We have a couple of options. It’s very likely one of them.

This article is about the longer answer.

First things, first.

Was Jesus an actual historical figure?

Short Answer: Yes

Longer Answer: To this day, some people in our world deny Jesus was an actual figure in history. They say Jesus of Nazareth was a myth. Come to think of it, many say Nazareth didn’t exist at the time either.

If there was no Jesus, then obviously there was no triumphal entry.

Well, here’s the truth…

Yes, there are people today who deny Jesus lived. There are also people today who say the Earth is flat and lizard people rule it.

Jesus is no myth. Whatever your beliefs may be about Jesus, there can be little doubt that Jesus of Nazareth lived during the first century AD (or CE for the politically correct).
