The Durham Bulls have been around since 1902. This can lend itself to having long-time fans, and stories like this one that can’t help but make you smile.

As you can see from the tweet, on Sunday the DBAP was visited by 94-year-old Mary Frances Donahoe, who was attending her first game since high school. Doing some quick math, that would mean the last time Donahoe attended a Bulls game would have been sometime in the late 1930’s or early 1940's!

Her family informed us that Donahoe and her sister grew up in an orphanage in Raleigh, and used to get tickets to the games from players at church.

Donahoe was joined at the game by her grandchildren, and by all accounts it looks like they had some fun.

Welcome back to the world of Durham Bulls baseball Mrs. Donahoe! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
