On Monday, Oct. 9, members of the Durham Bulls’ front office took to the community to partake in a pair of Habitat for Humanity projects.

One group of staff made their way to East Durham, where they set out to build a playhouse as part of a larger project in conjunction with their neighbors around the American Tobacco Campus. The staff laid the foundation for the house, assembled a roof, and much more en route to completing the project.

To put the finishing touches on the playhouse, the staff painted the house in the Bulls’ blue and burnt orange colors, while decorating it with bats and baseball sawed in half.

The other group of front office members took part in the building of a Habitat for Humanity house, where the group was tasked with helping to assemble a ceiling at a site located over just one mile from the DBAP.

The Bulls’ playhouse will be displayed at Diamond View Park at the American Tobacco Campus as part of its Winter Wonders holiday programming. All playhouses will be auctioned off, beginning at the ATC Tower Lighting.
