ESPN Messed Up Pretty Badly

ESPN made a pretty glaring mistake today. They unveiled their ‘Sports Movie Madness’ bracket and somehow left out ‘Bull Durham.’

Upon further examination, the following movies made the bracket ahead of ‘Bull Durham:’

• Moneyball
• The Longest Yard
• The Waterboy
• White Men Can’t Jump
• Bend It Like Beckham
• Rocky II
• Love & Basketball
• Bring It On
• Happy Gilmore
• Dodgeball
• The Karate Kid

Now look — some of those are fine movies. Others, well, let’s just say there are three Adam Sandler movies on that list (although ‘Happy Gilmore’ was pretty funny.) But ‘Bull Durham’ not even being in the bracket is a joke.

And it’s not just us who are flummoxed. The Twitterverse didn’t like it either:
