Hak-Ju Lee has returned. After missing the final 129 games of 2013 because of a torn ligament in his left knee, and missing the first 19 games of this season with a strained calf suffered in Spring Training, the shortstop has rejoined the Bulls roster.

The №2 prospect in the Rays system as ranked by Baseball America, Lee got off to one of the hottest starts we’ve ever seen in 2013. The South Korean was hitting .422 at the time of his injury, and had reached base safely in 30 of his 56 plate appearances, good for a .536 on-base percentage.

Originally a Cubs farmhand, the Rays acquired the left-handed hitter before the 2011 season in the deal that sent RHP Matt Garza and others to Chicago while bringing Lee, RHP Chris Archer and three others to the Rays organization. Lee began his career in 2009, and with the exception of 2013, has been named a Midseason or Postseason All-Star every year of his career.

Also, take 28 seconds out of your life to watch this, just because.
