New York Mets Host Durham Bulls Reunion

The New York Mets announced their full coaching staff earlier this week, about three weeks after they announced former Bull Mickey Callaway was their new manager.
Long-time Durham Bulls fans will notice one other familiar name on the Mets’ staff: Pitching Coach Dave Eiland.
Eiland and Callaway were teammates in Durham over the first two seasons of the Bulls’ Triple-A era in 1998 and 1999. Now, 20 seasons later, the two will once again don the same uniform.
It’s been a busy offseason for former Bulls coaches and players, as six of the seven members of the Tampa Bay Rays coaching staff were Bulls at one point.
