After many years of “brain drain” Armenia is finally able to keep tech talent locally and be heads down busy with planning, building, and launching …

But nothing can talk louder about the Armenian tech sector getting its momentum than the number of real products that are being launched and the number of real users that love them.

Product Hunt is the largest discovery community platform for users to find new and exciting products and for founders to launch their creations and capture the early feedback. More than thousands of users can join /use their product in a single day leaving valuable data and insights.

How does it work?

Products get submitted and upvoted (like Reddit and Hacker News), and the community has conversations around these products.

Every day the community picks the product of the day. The same goes for the week, month and year.

But the beauty of Product Hunt is its intricate algorithm which decided the winner app. Obviously, community upvotes are a big part of it but it is not just a numbers game, for example, a product with 652 upvotes can be #5 product of the day when the winner has only 324 upvotes.
Everything counts in this race — the hunter that submitted your product, the users that upvote your product, the number of users upvoting at any given time, the location of users, etc. Additionally, the algorithm can penalize you if it figures that you're trying to fool the system and asking your network for upvotes.

More than 8 Armenian startups made it to the top on Product Hunt in one year.

Bellow is the leatherboard of the winning products.
