Hiver Updates - Android app and Shared Mailbox Analytics

As a team, we are constantly trying to improve Hiver for delivering better customer experience. We have just released some important updates and improvements — let’s run you through them.

1. Hiver now has an Android app

The android app has been the most popular request from all our users over the last few years. Well, we’re delighted to introduce Hiver app for android users, it supports shared mailboxes, activity and shared notes.

It is a beta version and we are working to make it look and function better. It will support more features soon — Drafts, notifications, email search, and more.

2. Simplified access to shared mailbox analytics

You can now manage and check your team’s performance right from your Gmail inbox. We have moved the access to shared mailbox analytics inside Gmail’s left panel.

We are adding more features to Analytics as we go. We realize our reporting needs to give more details. We’re already working on export functionality to download detailed conversation level data. We’ll be releasing this soon, stay tuned!

3. Advanced Settings on Shared Mailbox

You can choose to notify users whenever a new email arrives in a Shared Mailbox. Notifications will be generated only when a new email arrives in the Unassigned section. If the email does not go to the Unassigned section owing to an Automation rule, the notification will not be generated.

This feature is also available on both the Hiver iOS app and the Hiver Android app.

A few other tweaks

We’ve made some minor tweaks and fixes to create a more seamless experience for you:

a) Skip Inbox Filter: If you are not a part of the main source email ID which was used to create the shared mailbox, the emails will skip the Gmail inbox and appear only in your shared mailbox.
