Right now, I would not want to assume everyone knows what HNG INTERNSHIP is all out for, so I will at first touch up on that.

Hng Internship is Organized by hotels.ng founded by Mark Essien, often supported by other bodies who see the future of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large in Technology. It is usually a 3-month remote programme aimed at discovering talents in the world of software development, and recently, the internship has expanded across the borders of Africa. Since it is remote, it adopts a platform called slack to foster collaboration and easy flow of communication among interns, it has the capacity of accepting a considerable large number of people.

The Internship however, does not select who can take part in it, it is not gender biased, neither does it consider your academic qualification. The internship itself is all about learning; whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert. As a beginners, it appears quite interesting at the initial stage. TO GET BETTER AT YOUR FIELD

In the internship, you find a ‘’fullstack html’’ Developer coming out as a Frontend Developer. And then you see a Frontend Developer, coming out a fullstack. In the internship too, what you never thought of studying in the next 3 years, you get to study them within three months and you get a better opportunity at it. You get mentored, you get the opportunity of being introduced to people higher than you in your field. You are given the opportunity of having one-on-one discussion with them and you have your questions answered.

TO FIND A JOB

No, you cannot make it to the end of the internship and come out without a job, not just any job, but a well paid job. Also, some persons who make it to a considerable level in the internship with proven skills also get employed as well. In HNG internship, you do not need academic qualification to get employed in a reputable tech company, your skill speak up for you, as far as you are good… you are good to go. You do not need to put up series of applications, your portfolio does it all.
