A new chapter
A new publication? Really, Diana? You can barely keep up with Know Thyself, Heal Thyself.
Well, yes. And no. Since the wonderful May More joined me a few weeks ago, and with other certain areas of my work on Medium slowing down drastically (I won’t go into detail), I’ve decided to finally launch a project I’ve had in mind for a really long time (just not the time to do it).
My whole life revolves around creativity — it’s essential to my mental health and something I’ve prioritised a lot this year. When things are going badly (which they have been this month), my escape and relief is to engage in creative endeavors.
And that’s how the concept of Hobbies & Stories was born. It’s all about creativity in the form of hobbies. Creativity is so many things. You can have a lot of hobbies, some of which are common or less common. I’m interested in how they shape who you are, how they make you feel, what they teach you, how they relax you, how often you do them. I’m interested in the how and the why.
