We have a joke about Baltic Honeybadger, but we’ll wait till 2021 to tell it

Dear Honeybadgers,

We must regretfully inform all our loyal honeybadgers that this year’s Baltic Honeybadger is cancelled. However, we will (most likely) see you all next year!

Due to this global pandemic we have decided to postpone this year’s conference until 2021. Here are some of our reasons for doing so:

1. COVID-19. Whether you believe it or think it’s a hoax, whether you wear a mask or roam bearfaced, If you support lockdown measures or not. The truth is that the world as we know it is rapidly changing and we have no idea what tomorrow will bring. Between rapidly changing travel regulations, lockdown measures and restrictions on public events, the fact is that the various incidents of force majeure have made it impossible for us to plan and price our tickets this year.
2. We care. Although honeybadger don’t care, we certainly do! Our dedicated team has always delivered top notch experiences to our guests and we are determined to continue on that level in our future events. Baltic Honeybadger is more than a Bitcoin conference - It’s a smooth running, humancentric event that values every single attendee. When you have a problem, we are there to solve it if we can. This year we decided, better safe than sorry.
3. We don’t like online formats. Nothing compares to having a beer with your fellow bitcoiners, meeting new people and having a proper steak with people you otherwise only follow on CT. Nothing.
4. We are really busy. Hodl Hodl’s team is really (REALLY) busy with two big projects that will soon go live, we expect them to be absolutely invaluable to the Bitcoin economy. In addition to this, Hodl Hodl’s YOY growth is approximately 1000%. It takes time to adjust to new markets and ensure that people globally can use our services, so rest assured we will be using this extra time wisely!

What’s next?

Instead of organizing Baltic Honeybadger this year, we are going to release major products that will have a bigger impact on Bitcoin and on it’s economy. This fall we will have an online launch event of our product and, instead of the conference, we’ll be delivering new innovative solutions for bitcoiners all around the world. Because, in the end, honeybadger don’t give a fuck and we must grow!
