HodlTree will grant HTRE rewards to farmers who contribute liquidity to the HTRE/USDC pools on Uniswap and Balancer. The total mining reward is 3,000,000 HTRE.

HodlTree officially opened up its liquidity mining pools for HTRE farming at 17:00 UTC on September 23. A detailed explanation of the HodlTree token allocation and liquidity mining can be found here.

How to Add Liquidity to the Balancer Pool

1. Connect your wallet

Go to our Balancer pool and connect your wallet. We recommend using MetaMask.

2. Setup Proxy

Click the “Add Liquidity” button. Balancer will ask you to set up a proxy contract before you supply liquidity for the first time.

Click “Setup” to create a proxy contract. This is a one-time operation and will cost more than a simple transaction due to the amount of work involved in setting up the contract.

Accept the transaction and wait for 10 block confirmations.

3. Unlock your tokens

Once your wallet is connected, you need to unlock your tokens before you can add them to the pool.

4. Add liquidity to the pool

There are 2 ways to add liquidity to the pool:

- Single asset
- Multi assets

The pool features a 98/2 HTRE/USDC distribution. When using “multi assets”, you will need to add both HTRE and USDC in the correct ratio. However, it is not necessary to hold any HTRE to participate in the pool if you use the “single asset”. If you use this option, the pool will automatically convert a portion of your USDC to HTRE.

Once your transaction is confirmed, you will see your share of the pool:

Removing Liquidity from the Balancer Pool

You can remove liquidity by clicking the “remove liquidity” button in the top-right corner of the interface. Choose the amount of liquidity that you want to remove from the pool and confirm using your wallet.

Adding liquidity to Uniswap

1. Connect your wallet

Go to our Uniswap pool and connect your wallet.

Uniswap will show you the balance found on your connected wallets (ETH and other ERC-20 tokens). You will also see the exchange rate and the share of the liquidity pool.

If you don’t have enough HTRE you can buy them here.

2. Add liquidity to the pool

After you enter the USDC or HTRE value, Uniswap will autofill the correct amount of the other assets depending on the current exchange rate.

You can click on the transaction details to see more information, such as the number of liquidity tokens you will be minting. The details will also come with the value of the tokens you want to mint.

Click the “Supply” button. Confirm Supply. You will need to confirm the transaction in Metamask.

Once the transaction has been confirmed on the Ethereum blockchain, you are done with your task. You will see your updated USDC and HTRE balances and your share of the total liquidity pool of the trading pair.

Removing Liquidity from the Uniswap Pool

Withdrawing liquidity from Uniswap is just as easy as adding it. Go to the Uniswap “Pool” tab, and look at the bottom of the widget for the “Remove” button. Your page will look like this:

Click on “Remove,” and you’ll arrive at a liquidity removal dashboard where you can choose to remove 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, or a more specific amount of your liquidity. Approve the transaction, submit your removal request, and your assets will be returned to your wallet once the transaction is confirmed.
