Ah..the agency naming game. It’s one of my favorites and keeps the agency marketing people employed.

We are ACME, no add digital since you know…digital, now global (that sounds expansive and large), nope we just bought this other MUCH larger agency so it’s them first because they’re bigger, then your agency’s name.

The issue is that underneath all of the logo changes and new power point formats are employees who are scared, confused, and often times forgotten. If we spent as much time focusing on the employee as we do new names, acquisitions, or logo changes, we’d won’t have an industry a few years from self destruction.
