“Bhopal” is called a “city of lakes” with its natural and artificial lakes. It is the capital city of Madhaya Pradesh. It was founded by the King Bhoja of the Parmara dynasty. It has all the pages what you want to see while on a trip like nature, history, monuments, adventurous wildlife park.

Lower lake” is the most incredible scenic lake in the city. It is often known as Chhota Talab. It was built in 1794 to revamp the city. It is formed as terraced lake along with Upper Lake, that formed Bhoj wetland previously called Bada Talab. In the morning and in the evening time, many people come here to joy the cool breeze and when the water touches on your feet make you feel lighten up live the all burden in mind. People often come here to enjoy river rafting, boating. When you are drinking coconut water sitting on the coast of lake nothing is better than this to enjoy.

After, Lake Visit there is a museum in the city. A museum is a collection of an era as well as a collection of the place, having different kind of strange things which are going to decay. “Bharat Bhawan” is a similar kind of a museum, which include an art, gallery Roopanker a fine art gallery of contemporary folk and tribal art, and a modern art gallery, Graphic art Work Shop and Ceramics art workshop. A theatrical repertory –Rangmandal, a library of Indian poetry, translations –Vegarth, Anhad — a librabry of Classical and Folk music, audio and video archives.

Besides lake and museum there is a mosque in the city named as “Taj –Ul-Masjid” meaning is the “crown among mosques”. It is the largest mosque in the India. The construction was started during the reign of Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar by Nawab Jahan Begum(1844–1860 and 1868–1901) wife o fBaqi Mohammad Khan of the city later it was taken to her daughter Sultan Jahan Begum but it was not completed in that time and the construction was resumed in 1971.It was completed in 1985. It is a pink disguise topped by two-18 storey high octagonal minar by marble domes.it resembles mughal architecture like Jama Masjid in Delhi. Your morning begins with a “azaan” from the mosque that makes feel happy and blessed when the echo of azaan strike on ears.

There is a wild life park is situated in the city named as” Van Vihar National Park”. There you can see the wild animals such as tiger, lion, bear, hyena, crocodiles, gharial, snakes, python, cheetal, sambhar, blackbuck, blue bull etc. The fauna in Van Vihar consists of Albino Sloth bear, White tiger, Lion, Chousingha, Common Langur, Rhesus macaque, Wild-boar, Porcupine, Hare etc. The Van Vihar is a paradise for birds you will see the birds such as peacocks, munias, barlets, wagtails, bulbuls, orioles, Bhura Teetar, Kala Teetar, Blue Kingfisher, Phakta and migratory birds such as Tree Pie and Drongo. The park protects the animals with a green atmosphere like actually their home. The trees such as teak, tendu, salai, palas, Kardhai , gurajan and creepers like bangoon, gomachi, malkangni and harjudi providing them a lush greenery. It sometimes so scary when you heard the roar of lion, but the chirping of birds make you feel calm down and gives you a memorable day. You will love this place to connect with nature if you are an animal lover.

While visiting to Bhopal it was so pleasant and adventurous to visit on lake and Van Vihar. It is muslim and hindu citys so you find a both delights here. The city’ traditional delights are achar goshts, seekh kaba, keema pulav, etc. besides these dishes don’t forget to enjoy the royal bhopali paan.
