Back 2 School — Calling all parents, teachers and students
As a student teacher who is also a parent and a not so secret stationery fan, this is perhaps my favourite time of the year. Yes, I’ve been enjoying the school holidays and the sunshine. Yes, the cocktails and beach on my recent Spanish holiday was fabulous. But the real reason I love it, is because it’s time to go and refresh stationery supplies for both myself and my two children ready for the return to school!
I have fond memories of my own childhood trips to Woolworths to buy the annual shiny new pencil case (featuring everything from Wham! through to cutesy “Forever Friends” bears) and lovely new things ready to put in it. I can only assume that I was a placid, well behaved child because, frankly, the school shoes shopping trip with my kids has just about finished me off and any stationery they need for the new school year is going to be purchased via a strictly online shopping experience.
If you’re a parent who is also blessed with “spirited” children, then you might want to do the same and take a look at our Back 2 School store. We don’t sell Wham! pencil cases though — more’s the pity.
If you’re a teacher, now’s the time to visit our store and make sure you’re fully stocked for your return to the classroom. Are your displays ready? 3D printing is not just for Design &Technology… Artistic sculptural forms can be designed and made; Geographers can model 3D terrain; Mathematical shapes can be modelled; Architectural and historical buildings/structures studied as 3D models; Moulds for food products; Cells, atoms, DNA and other scientific concepts can be modelled. In the times of a new National Curriculum which concentrates more and more on technology, a 3D printer is something all schools should be aiming to get.
