What is Man Made Of?

Let’s begin with a macroscopic view of what Man is made of.

What we see on the surface is: skin, limbs, body parts and hair.

And we know that we contain organs, glands, bones, muscles, tissues, blood and other fluids and gases.

Now from a microscopic view, cells are what make up every component of the human body.

Here’s a brief overview:

Nearly 99% of the human body mass is made up of six elements:

Oxygen

Carbon

Hydrogen

Nitrogen

Calcium

Phosphorus

About 0.85% is composed of another five elements:

Potassium

Sulfur

Sodium

Chlorine

Magnesium

It is estimated that the average 70 kg (150 lb.) adult human body contains approximately 7×10²⁷ atoms and contains at least 60 detectable traces of chemical elements.

In sum and in simple terms, if we were to peel back the layers of the human anatomy, here’s what we’d find:

-The human body is made up of a cloud of energy and information that form subatomic particles. Subatomic particles are the smallest non-living units known to Man (protons, neutrons, electrons)

-Subatomic particles come together to form atoms (Carbon, Magnesium, Zinc, Calcium…)

-Atoms come together to form molecules (Salt, sugar, proteins, lipids, vitamins, hormones, insulin, enzymes…)

-Molecules come together to form cells, which are the smallest living units known to Man (red blood cells, white blood cells, bone cells, lymph cells, nerve cells, connective tissue cells…)

-Cells come together to form tissues (muscle tissue, nervous tissue, connective tissue…)

-Tissues come together to forms organs (stomach, heart, intestines, pancreas…)

-Organs come together to form systems (respiratory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system…)

-Systems come together to form an organism (human body)

Therefore, Man is made of a combust of energy and information. This may sound surreal, and in many ways, science — or LIFE, if you will — is just that.

The phenomenon continues when we observe all tangible and intangible matters that surround us. Take Oxygen for example (an atom / intangible) that is made up of subatomic particles, chalk (a tangible item) that is made up of atoms, or say a table, that is also made up of atoms; same for plastics, fabrics, trees, leaves, flowers, fruits, vegetables, animals and everything else you can think of.

Essentially, we’re all cut from the same cloth — cloth here metaphorically symbolizing subatomic particles that are made up of energy and information — and we form the said fabric of life — everything we see, don’t see; and everything we interact with and all that interacts with us, consciously and unconsciously.

The more important question then is, what is this energy and information and where is it coming from and what or who decides for it?

That is the million-dollar question that has scientists exploring the roots of all existence tirelessly and incessantly.

For the sake of this article, let’s stick to the basics.

To begin to even question our existence and to explore its source, is to be conscious of the fact that there is something there to explore. We question something and become conscious of it because we think it. This thinking, is also exactly how we become aware that we ebb and flow between a conscious and unconscious state.

Thought then, precedes all matter, be it tangible or intangible.

Let us consider subatomic particles.

Its been said that subatomic particles are energy and information moving faster than the speed of light. The thought and intelligence in this statement alone is massive and mesmerizing. Man has always tried to understand himself by correlating, comparing and contrasting his existence to Nature and by analyzing his dynamic with and within it.

Let us think for a moment.

Man can conceive a car and can then begin to develop it; but he will begin to develop it using materials that have been made available to him by Nature. He will begin to study what elements do, how they bind, their respective properties, all their limits and infinite possibilities. And he will begin to do all of this using his body and mind — also ‘matters’ that are borne from Nature for which Man had no role in creating. All of these things just are. The starting point is always studying and understanding the Universal intelligence at hand. From there, Man begins to create and further elaborate on this Universal intelligence that is omnipotent and omnipresent.

So while Man does create, the Universe (Nature) has already created and continues to create with far greater force.

To help put Nature’s force in perspective you must realize that Nature does not cease to exist without Man, but Man cannot exist without Nature.

In short, Man creates and is as he thinks.

But while all ‘matters’ created come from common source, why are they not all created equally?

This is where the energy and informations plays its role. All things combine in the way they are intended and therefore express their intended energy and information in their intended form. A rug will stay as a rug the same as a chair will remain a chair. And water will remain liquid until subjected to other forms of intelligence that may transform it to solid or jelly for instance. It all boils down to what Man calls chemistry and physics.

Let us now consider the main difference between human intelligence and Nature’s intelligence.

As we saw earlier, Man stems from Nature, and things stem from Man. The difference here is that all things that are borne (created) from Nature are Living, infinite organisms. All things created by Man are non-living, incapable of regenerating themselves.

Take a car for instance, while Man is able to conceive it and gather the elements to develop it, bringing it from thought to thing that we can see, touch and use; the car remains something that is incapable of regenerating itself. The car needs human intervention to exist, to be. Once the car is broken down again to the bare elements Man bound to construct it, only then are those very elements considered to be Alive in the sense that they are infinite and existed before human intervention and continue to exist post human intervention. So, one can say that what Man creates isn’t infinite but rather expresses the infinite possibilities of Nature.

A better example would be how Man conceives. While female and male may choose to have intercourse in order to conceive, the very elements that make conception possible to begin with, were/are Naturally pre-determined. Man did not create this. In this very example, by conceiving, Man expresses Nature’s infinite possibilities and not his own.

It is not Man who created Man. Whether you believe Man was created through Devine intervention or God, or whether you label yourself as agnostic, spiritual, atheist, the common factor is the fact that even if all belief systems disagree or agree, they are but mere beliefs. Thoughts.

Even if you choose to disagree that Man is made up of an estimated 76 trillion cells, here too, you are merely expressing your own belief. Ask yourself however: how do you think? Where do these thoughts come from? What enables these thoughts? What puts these thoughts in your mind in the first place? What is a mind? Did Man create the mind? Would a mind not be necessary in order to create a mind?

In asking yourself these questions, you may choose to believe that it all started from a Man or a Woman, or a Something. Whatever your focal point, we can agree that it is what humans identify as absolute and divine. Or magic, if you will.

Man has discovered that we have approximately 1 million chemical reactions per second. These reactions are simply occurring. There is no human intervention or creation in this process; these reactions just know to be and to occur in stellar synchronicity and symbiosis. The function is flawless. Humans describe this a cellular intelligence.

Then how can something so flawless go wrong and give way to disease?

The reality is, that the function of our being remains flawless. When symptoms appear however, Man perceives these as mistakes, as something going wrong in the body. Symptoms, however, should rather be considered as cells reacting to your lifestyle. Our bodies are made to respond to our lifestyle; it is part of Nature’s plan. It is how human intelligence interacts with Nature’s intelligence as a means to co-exist and co-create. Symptoms, therefore, are how Nature’s intelligence speaks to human intelligence, thus communicating with it in such a way as to prompt a response from Man.

The word ‘MALADIE’ in French says it best: Mal A Die — exactly translating to ‘bad has said or says’. Simply put, symptoms, are cellular intelligence trying to get your attention, flagging you that something isn’t right and with intention that you’ll take action to rectify the situation.

In other words, symptoms are cells crying for change; change in your lifestyle; in the way you think, eat and live.

Considering this then, symptoms — in all their forms and names Man has attributed to them in attempt to better understand them — should be viewed as an expression or outcome of the way you are living, thinking, and eating. Symptoms are an indication that your cellular wellbeing is being compromised.

Viewing symptoms as an illness in the conventional sense, is prescribing to the philosophy that your body is indeed making a mistake, and therefore isn’t functioning as it should, and needs to be ‘forced’ back into proper functioning with the aid of drugs and such.

The trouble with this train of thought is that it addresses the symptoms and no the cause of the symptoms. To understand that cells (your body), know exactly what they are doing and that they are merely alarming you to make life adjustments that will help realign you with your being so that proper health is regained and maintained, is to recognize that health is implicit. Cellular existence precedes Man’s existence and cellular intelligence transcends Man’s intelligence.

Understanding how better health comes from living in harmony with the Universe:

What is your truth?

Universe governs Man; problems present themselves when Man wishes to govern the Universe.

To live as one with Nature, to respect and understand it, is to understand Man’s roots and how we are to experience the world and how we are to express it through our very being. It isn’t uncommon that our truth may at some point get distorted, disrupting our wellbeing. Because it is Human Nature to distort and be distorted, life has created a language we humans understand as symptoms — physical, emotional, and/ or mental — and that present themselves as to convey a message. Any negative symptoms are conveying an imbalance that we must resolve. And in resolving this imbalance — in terms of how we perceive it, understand it, and finally react to it — lies everyone’s ultimate life purpose. We all have something to show and tell. And this is expressed through our suffering as much as through our wellbeing. In essence then, your truth comes to you in your quest for balance and wellbeing.

As we often say: “change your thoughts and you will change your life”. You give force and life to what you focus on; this is an intuitive transaction between you and every fibre of your being.

It is true that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Therefore to evolve from where you are, you must be open and ready to learn. Consider your symptoms a nudge toward your journey to restoring your balance and in consequence a pull to exploring, discovering and understanding your truth. Like this, you will have transitioned between your unconscious being to you conscious being.

Just as it must rain for flowers to bloom, we are sometimes subjected to suffering, storms, and pain so we may begin to heal. Our body carries us through these stages, constantly acclimatizing itself to enable us to find and deliver our truth. This is something that remains surreal to human beings and hence why we are incessantly questioning our purpose and studying our very existence and its composites thereof.
