A Founder’s Letter to the Worldwide HoloBuilder Family
The HoloBuilder team is committed to our employees, customers, partners, and their families to get through these challenging times together
Dear HoloBuilder customers, partners, and friends,
because I value your time, here are the most important updates from HoloBuilder at a glance:
- The HoloBuilder platform continues to run smoothly and without interruptions! Our teams are working remotely since March 9th, 2020 and we have doubled down on support, customer success, and engineering resources to ensure this remains the case over these critical weeks ahead.
- We’ve increased the number of new-user training and best practices webinars highlighting how to work remotely using HoloBuilder.
Virtual user training sessions will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am Pacific Time, starting next week.
- We’re prioritizing and fast-tracking the development of product features that further enable remote workflows and team collaboration.
- We are here for you, please contact us with any questions, comments or concerns.
- All communication will now occur on secure, virtual channels (video meetings).

My heart goes out to all of you who are impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. As the news keeps rolling in quickly, I am sure that you, like us, are weighing the impact that the pandemic will have on your family, friends, teams, your business, and your stakeholders.
I want to assure you that HoloBuilder will do everything we can to support a safe and productive environment for you and your teams during these times. As travel is discouraged, we know that many of you will want to rely on HoloBuilder’s virtual site access more than ever, and we are making sure that you have what you need to make that happen.
We have taken a series of measures to help ensure that everyone in the HoloBuilder family — our employees, our customers, our partners, and their families — will get through these challenging times together as best we can.
First and foremost, we have seen a significant increase in usage from our existing users over the past week, so we are making more resources available to support you and your teams with any issues that may arise. This is to make sure that you can easily reach us via chat, email, phone, and video call as questions come up and more teams in the field might need help.
We also started to offer more frequent user training webinars that you and your team members can join to learn about best practices related to providing remote access to your job sites. These will occur every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 am Pacific Time starting next week.
At HoloBuilder, like many others, we are doing our part to help decrease the spread of the virus and to support our communities and government initiatives. As such, we have enforced a mandatory work-from-home policy for all HoloBuilder team members, and have canceled all in-person meetings, conference attendances, in-person interviews, and suspended all business travel. Our team continues to monitor the situation and follows the guidance from national and local governments, the World Health Organization, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention closely.
Finally, as the duration of this situation is uncertain, we need to hope for the best, but plan for the worst and do everything we can to help. As a technology company, we can best help through our technology and solutions. We know that you love to visit your sites in-person to see the progress, but when you are not able to do so, we want to provide a virtual job walk that comes as close as possible to the real-world so you can maintain safety, productivity and forward progress, as planned.
As workflows and processes are changing rapidly at the moment we have started to prioritize and fast-track the development of workflows that will support connecting your offices, sites, and stakeholders virtually beyond what HoloBuilder already does today. Our Innovators Club Members are working closely with us to identify the features and functionality that can best support all customers during these times.
