What’s Happening?
We are giving away prizes and rewards to the Holonym community. Learn about Holonym, complete surveys, verify with our partner Gitcoin Passport, and qualify to claim a part of a $1000 prize pool — with more rewards planned in the coming weeks.
Who is Holonym?
We’re a public benefit foundation building apps for private digital identity, secure cryptographic key custody, and open source civic infrastructure. Research and development is in our source code and we make key contributions to open source infrastructure for wallet security, post-quantum cryptography, and data privacy. We are proud to work with social impact organizations such as 2020 Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang’s Lobby3, Open Civics, and Gitcoin.
Why Now?
This is us coming out! Our education campaign aims to demystify zero knowledge proofs, how they augment privacy, and empower internet citizens with digital agency.
We believe users should be rewarded for making Web3 safer from bots by verifying with Gitcoin Passport.
We also will be collecting vital data to better understand the anthropogenic framework around digital identity, which will help us identify key barriers to access and how we can improve the protocol in future iterations.
So, how do I get started?
There are three campaigns we will be running this fall
The Holonym Pathfinder Quest
This quest is specific to users that have verified with Holonym and minted a zero knowledge proof that they are a unique person, not a bot. The quest involves completing a survey and referring others to do so as well. There is $500 set aside for this Quest’s prize pool.
The Holonym Scholar Quest
This is our educational campaign to encourage users to learn more about Holonym and how it can be used to solve key problems in digital identity, everything from digital democracies to bot-proof web services. This quest unlocks the Holonym Sybil Defense Quest.
The Holonym Sybil Defense Quest
Verify with Holonym, mint the ZK NFT proofs of uniqueness, and achieve a 20 or greater Gitcoin passport score to unlock up to three three limited edition NFTs and enter a raffle for up to a $500 prize pool.
