Why did you invest in holoride?
At Terranova Ventures, we back founders who seek industry transformation. When we saw holoride, it was clear that we had found something unique. Merging entertainment with blockchain opens a universe of opportunities.
But the most important thing is the team and execution. Teams that can make the right decisions and stay ahead of their time are the ones we seek to invest in. If you look at holoride’s team, you’ll see top-tier stars, confirmed by the success in their execution and awards.
Terranova Ventures is composed mainly of big mainstream influencers and streamers. We have a lot of synergy with holoride, which is another reason why we invested in it. We’ll be able to place their product in front of millions of people.
Why does the market need holoride?
It’s a chance to bring blockchain to a mainstream audience.
Playing games while you’re on an Uber ride, or as a game that your kid can play while you’re traveling somewhere, or even at Disneyland, takes blockchain technology to everybody’s eyes, literally.
With holoride, we’ll have people interacting with the blockchain on a daily basis.
Why is now the right time?
The pandemic made us change our way of interacting with the world. Imagine having Disneyland closed for months. It really happened.
With holoride, we can take the theme parks with us everywhere. In-car entertainment will have a lot to catch up with, that’s the impact of holoride’s first-mover advantage.
Not only that, holoride comes to the blockchain space while blockchain entertainment is at its peak, bringing attention to all projects, accelerating early adoption and interaction with the app.
Being ahead of its time is great but you need timing, or else you either launch too soon or too late. The timing for holoride is just perfect.
